But...how does it...fit?
I guess most of it is needed to get around the female's shell...

I'm really craving a good mutton curry right now. It's a bit odd.

I should cook mutton more often in general, too.

I can't judge, I've been mostly eating instant potatoes with sriracha.  For uh
gosh I'm sleepy
What was I talking about?  Between MGS5 and my job getting really interesting recently, I haven't been uh
what's the word
unawake much

Just super glad I work from home, like wow.

Starfox is actually one of the best aged games ever if you consider emulation. Some versions of zsnes will run it without the slowdown, which makes it amazing.

Starfox would have aged well - if Starfox 64 wasn't so much better in every way that the original looks like shit. Super Mario Kart has the same problem.

To my mind, games that have aged badly are more due to mechanics then graphics. Though, graphics certainly enter into the equation.
It's the mechanics I'm talking about - the original Starfox just doesn't respond as smoothly, has no charge or lock on functions, and the sections where you're not moving for boss fights feel really bad in comparison to the way Starfox 64's boss fights work. Similarly, the original Super Mario Kart has that idiotic "collect coins to go faster" mechanic, the AI can't use any items (they each have a really bad special ability instead), and item boxes don't respawn. Mario Kart 64 fixed all that and made the previous game look absolutely terrible.

You are REALLY exaggerating Lord Shonus.

Just because a better game exist it doesn't render the previous game into an immediate pile of garbage unless the game was already a pile of garbage.

This is certainly true.  But, the existence of a purely improved version does make the original obsolete.
And much more commonly, a mostly-improved version can make it hard to enjoy the original.  Even if it had nice features which didn't carry over.
It's true that old games never *become* garbage, though.

The original actually had a few mechanics that made it favorable to play it over several of the of the Mario Kart titles including 64.

A lot of old games of its type are aided by its "Glory in Simplicity". It is a simple fun game... More so then even 64 can claim to be.

In fact... I still think Mario Kart is FAR superior then Mario Kart 64... by leagues. It wouldn't be until many games later then the Mario Kart series would get the Mario Kart 64 formula just right (Drifting bonuses)

While Mario Kart Super Circuit perfected the formula the original was going for.

I am a big fan of the original Super Mario Kart, probably because I had it for SNES but never owned an N64.  Really, I found it hard to get into other games in the series.

It depends on which old games you're talking about. I know a couple of them old games that I would never replay again, because they were really bad.

Laura Bow and the Coronal's Bequest... Might be one of the greatest point and clicks EVER made and the fact that no other game has attempted to copy its gameplay is nothing short of criminal (Honestly every person interested in old games should attempt it at least a few times)...

But HOLY COW is it near unplayable and obtuse.

Space invaders has aged well. In that I'll play a game made before I was born :P
You want the best version of Space Invaders? Here ya go. It had multiplayer and boss fights.

That, the original Rogue Squadron, and a collection of DOS shareware games are like 90% of my childhood memories of bonding with my father. :V
