I created a Twitter, because consensus (i.e. Googled articles) say that it's a good way to promote a game project if you work at it. Since I'm going to be using it pretty much for "business" inasmuch as there can be a "business" Twitter account, I picked the only relevant topic (Gaming) and moved on to the next step of account creation.

Clearly, "Gaming" means that I must be interested in Ellen Degeneres, the Seahawks, Jimmy Fallon, assorted news stations, and a bunch of other detritus that I was auto-recommended by Twitter.
