A self-induced wtf: it's 3AM here, still dark out. I want to use my computer at full brightness, but I don't want to hurt my eyes. Rather than turn a light on or merely set the screen at almost full brightness, I decided that the best course of action was to wear sunglasses. Not computer glasses like Gunnars or anything, just plain sunglasses. What the hell, me?

Having watched Cliffs of Dover and part of One, they *are* actually easier to play on a real guitar; One in particular has waaaaaay too many notes on the bridge trill. Couldn't watch it all, I keep subconsciously trying to interpret intervals as if it was an actual guitar (thanks Rocksmithbama) and it's literally giving me a motion-sickness kind of feeling, which is a WTF in itself.

Honestly I think this is just gonna end up being a problem we're gonna have to deal with for about... oh... another 40 years or so. At that point a significant portion of the older people who are less computer literate will have either retired or died, at which point by default all of our teachers will become more computer literate, therefore leading to an increasing feedback loop where each group of teachers and students is more computer literate than the last (Assuming we haven't collapsed society by then and are all too busy fighting to rule Bartertown to learn about computers ).

A quest early in Human Revolution doesn't make sense. A lab tech wants you to help cover his tracks after he steals some neuropyzene from the labs. The thing is... Adam is company security. Pretty high up on that ladder too, if not the head of the whole department. Even if you were the best of buddies (the dialogue makes it sound like you're passing acquaintances), Adam would have no reason to help him and every reason to arrest him. It's alright from Adam's side because player choice and all that, but what the hell is the lab tech thinking?

Adam is the Head of Security. The guy was stealing it for another guy who started blackmailing him after he wanted out, so his choices were to keep going with it and risk getting caught by Adam, refuse and have the guy release the blackmail tape and be caught by Adam, commit suicide, or confess to Adam and ask for help.

So, it was a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, and since he had a good cause, he hopes to get a modicum of mercy from Adam, whether he does is up to you.

Apparently she got pushed off of her bike by some random person this morning, hit her head, was actively in pain, and still made it here to tell a professor in person that she couldn't make her appointment this afternoon. Ack, I've had concussion after I got whacked in the side of the head with a sword; tried walking home thinking I was fine and after a few hours of black and blue spots in my eyesight suddenly everything was too painful to even stand up.
