my 8-core computer is awful compared to my brother's 4-core for DF

my 8-core computer actually has 4 proper cores and 8 APUs or something silly though because AMD's marketspeak is dumb

but  yeah single-core wise go for a recent i5 for best price/performance AFAIK

Earth porn is actually helping Japa's case, what with it just being a collection of shots of amazing scenery- maybe touched up a bit with Photoshop.

I was specifically referring to the "minimal effort" bit. It takes a good eye and steady hands with the camera or a skilled cinematographer to make good Earth porn. There's nothing about the product or the process by which it is made that is distinctly subpar.

Pretty sure DF can't use more than two processors, and one of them can only handle the "display".
