I think you are misunderstanding how "porn" is used there.

Those things ARE titillating to the people who seek them out.  To stereotypical girly girls who like shoe shopping, seeing a special on prada is "shoe porn;" It gets them very excited, and eager to go shoe shopping.

Similar with "gun porn", for gun nutters, etc.

The use of the word in this way derives from the grey area in human behavior where inanimate objects can cause sexual levels of arousal-- Fetishism.

Bluntly-- To somebody with a gun fetish, pictures of really big guns can be sexually stimulating, thus "Gun porn."
