I'm surprised people don't try to fuck me around as much as they do (which is basically never). It's downright embarrassing how quickly I fold under a bit of positive encouragement and reassurance.

People are just allergic to being nice or something, even if it's pretend-nice. That's why people who act nice are so dangerous and charismatic. I mean, if somebody like Tiruin was silently replaced with her evil twin. And she told me to jump into a volcano, I probably would.

Eh, I thought you had mentioned wanting to write a crossover of Touhou and W40k. Though a bit further back and it was a topic started around Gunner-chan.

All that aside. I'll start a topic in Creative for anything further. I've got some simple sketches that I'll upload and I encourage anyone else to contribute if they wish to.

I still think the hilarious thing is, I'm not even that much into touhou anymore. I primarily like it since I'm very attracted to a not insignificant portion of the cast at this point.

My mom can't seem to wrap her mind around the idea that people can even tell lies in the first place. She often asks others why people lie.

I worry about myself. So many times I'll lie just because I'm not concentrating on the conversation at hand. Then I'll have to stop, do a double-take, and go 'Wait, no, I lied, I haven't done that yet'.
I wonder if lying is a standard human thing which needs to be beaten out of us (metaphorically).

I figure if humans hadn't lied to ourselves and each other from the earliest days there are 2 likely scenarios:
1)the candidness and willingness to admit being wrong + necessity to be right(for survival) would lead to a scientific method of some sort earlier and we would be more biologically capable of the thinking that requires.
2)we don't reach our current or an equivalent understanding of our world because lying is the most convincing method of persuasion in shitty situations and you can't convince people you are correct when you don't have mountains of evidence and you have to admit that.
