Wow, so I put this image up on Imgur, as I use it to post images on this forum, and for some reason, though everything else on my account has only been viewed by me, this doodle-map for an ISG I'm planning has had 634 views, 10 downvotes and an upvote. Oh, and one comment, very helpful:

Did I do something weird that I didn't do with my other images? And why are so many people so interested anyway?
Well, my "imgur reputation" (ha!) is at -9, with my notoriety level "forever alone", whatever that means. And I didn't even intend for anyone outside Bay12 to look at my images

If you want to geographically build a world, I recommend going here to generate a fractal world with editable parameters. Then use a simple painting tool to separate the world into continents, countries, and stuff.

You posted to the public gallery, where random content like that would be downvoted, mostly on justification that it crowds out people content that people want to see. People on imgur aren't there to see contextless paint-drawn fictional maps, they're there to see cat photos.
