Fairly sure it does, yeah. The only problem is HTML 5's performance as a video player is basically complete shit :V

Like, it's worse than flash itself, and flash can get pretty bad.

Don't think it's much of an issue if you've got a fairly new/good computer, but for those of us on clunkers it can be a complete non-starter. "Stick to HTML 5" would be basically telling me, at least, to stop watching videos online entirely.

That's probably because without the trope-support, the entire theme of the show would have shattered the federation idealism all to holy hell.

Voyager is hardly realistic in how it portrays the actions and behaviors of people under THAT kind of stress.

A realistic exploration of that idea would have made the whole idea of following federation rules and regs nonsensical, and thus would not really live up to "star trek" idealism, and would thus be even more red-headed than DS9.

True, and paramount wouldn't have that. Paramount kept nixing their scripts because of one reason or another, they couln't get it approved.  Perhaps the Gorn were in it when, according to the lore, they never were in that "sector of space in that time." Seriously, they had an entire group of people whose SOLE job was to go through all the old episodes, and write down every little detail. If something in voyager didn't mesh up with the forgotten lore, it was denied. 

And yet they still fucked up continuity often (and in ways that actually matter :v Like beaming through the shields! Can you? Can't you? Who knows!) that it's a running joke~

The security issues are apparently still there, and from what I understand the whole thing's still fairly unstable for a fair number of people. I pretty regularly get this white box of intense irritation that hard freezes the plugin and requires flash to be killed via task manager and restarted.

Still, the problem with flash isn't that it's bad, exactly (though its problems are problems), it's that everything else is generally worse :V

Means that flash can get away with being pretty shitty, because everything else is shittier, heh.

About an hour ago I was suddenly told "Oh, by the way, you and your brother are going out in half an hour." We had to go and shift some bricks for our grandfather. We knew we had to do it at some point, but that was short notice.

I've seen a lot of fiction on half-angel half-demon things...

But what that almost ALWAYS amounts to is just some angsty child/teen/adult rather than someone who is legitimately torn because of their genes.

In fact... it is rare that fiction actually pulls it off in other forms as well. Belana Torres from Voyager for example, just felt like a rather violent woman rather then her "Klingon" genes seemed to drive her to violence.

Yes, but for a variety of reasons, voyager was also terribly written.  ALL of the characters delved into tropes relativity quick.

One of the best explanations I've ever heard for Voyager was that it was a series of low-grade holonovels written by Janeway as a junior officer while on some boring posting and none of that ever actually happened.

Ok that is some scary looking stuff.  I see on the site people posted just random selfies and things like that that are really meh, but then it's like you get something like pluto which as far as I can guess is like nothing it's ever seen and the crazy is cranked up to 11.   That first dreamified pluto looks more bizzare than some of the images on the site that look like they've passed through the filter 3 times or more.
