That's probably because without the trope-support, the entire theme of the show would have shattered the federation idealism all to holy hell.

Voyager is hardly realistic in how it portrays the actions and behaviors of people under THAT kind of stress.

A realistic exploration of that idea would have made the whole idea of following federation rules and regs nonsensical, and thus would not really live up to "star trek" idealism, and would thus be even more red-headed than DS9.

True, and paramount wouldn't have that. Paramount kept nixing their scripts because of one reason or another, they couln't get it approved.  Perhaps the Gorn were in it when, according to the lore, they never were in that "sector of space in that time." Seriously, they had an entire group of people whose SOLE job was to go through all the old episodes, and write down every little detail. If something in voyager didn't mesh up with the forgotten lore, it was denied.

That's not WTF at all if you've been following any tech news. Everyone should honestly uninstall or disable flash at this point. And last I heard youtube has all round support for HTML 5 now.

I get that. It's just that last time I tried it with the HTML5 player, 1080p60 was the only 1080p option available and it stuttered like crazy. Has that been fixed?

And that it feels so weird being called Objective now. I mean, not really a bad kind of weird, but it's like somebody calling me Start or Oven or Table or something mundane. I mean, Cinder is also somewhat mundane but at least it sounds like Cindy?

Saw "What we do in the Shadows" last night. Great piece of Kiwi comedy, Rhys Darby was fantastic, especially for Flight of THe Conchords fans. Didn't recognise Jermaine Clement with the moustaches, for a bit.

Possibly the best comedy vampire docudrama I've watched.

They're allowed though, I kinda like how they shorten it too since well, Jan is actually unisex in several countries and I kinda like unisex/ambiguous names.

That's rather misleading, I can wreck a bigger havoc in your computer with javascript than with actionscript, this is more a issue of running around shady places.
