I saw a cluster of spider eggs for the first time out by the recycling bins this morning. I went WTF at first because I was wondering what on earth they were. Then I found it a little creepy (but cool) when I realised.

Then I tried to get rid of the spiders in my room.

Power keeps going out for the last few days.  The power company says they are upgrading the poles.  But I see that they still have the old poles up while installing the new concrete ones.   

I can't figure out what the problem could be if they are planning on just putting up the new poles with the old ones still standing and then take the old ones down once they switch over.  I'm no electrical pole tech but keeping the current infrastructure working while installing the new sounds like basic stuff.  My boss actually had to give me an official verbal warning today because I work from home, and I've lost power while working for over 15 minutes at a time, 5 times in the last 3 days.

I'm not even sure the new stuff they put up is working very well.  I consistently lose power during a rainstorm now, when before we got grazed by hurricanes and kept power 100%.

Apparently some non-player is reading all of ER (Einsteinian roulette), all the missions, posts and on ship stuff. How does one do that? I'd make a comparison to some literature, but as it would involve War and eace, Kafka, cheap sci-fi, K.Dick, the Oddessy, Asimov, Terry Pratchett, LOTR, The Iliad, and Douglas adams, I'd probably better not.

So far, 600 pages in, all he wants to say is that we're insane.

I actually tried to read some of that loved it but didn't have time to read the whole thing.  Last thing I recall reading about it was some shenanigans in an elevator that I think ended up missing it's floor or something?   (I recall originally discovering it following some amusing signature link about someone screaming like a little girl after opening a door.)

It's rather massive, yes, and reading all of it starting at a time like this... Dang. It has become so large just about nobody knows all the ins and outs anymore, least of all the gm. It's magnificent.
