Oh man, I'm browsing a 4chan /a/ thread where anons post pics of their "anime station". They range from well organized office rooms with a clean desk and a few figures to bedrooms literally wallpapered in anime girl posters and beds covered in anime girl body pillows.

It's surreal. I thought it was just a stereotype.

No, I've got a friend like that. He currently only has one or two body pillows, and I'm not sure about posters, but he could easily go to that level. If his parents wouldn't kill him if he did that to his room, of course...

I could totally get having a room dedicated to a thing, like a hobby or music or science stuff like robots or electronics or even something like anime waifu girls. Like, convert a basement into that kind of room. But having a bedroom plastered in skimpily clad anime girls, filled with animu figurines, and floored by dakimakuras seems too cringey and embarrassing for me to even think of trying it. Especially if living with parents. What will friends think. What would family think. How could I sleep at night with the inanimate leering gazes of tens or hundreds of smiling animu grills staring into my soul from every direction?

Making figurines seems cool. Unless you're saying it's weird how they can read your mind and go and make a figurine for you without you even saying anything to them. Then yeah, I agree, mind reading is weird.

My 2 AM mind feels the burning need to carefully remind people that sometimes (more often than reasonable, at times) that basis is someone's lies. PSA complete, out the window, through the door, off the balcony frumple goes.
