I know you can get the CD key for any game from its library sidebar, but I'm not sure if that helps. You could try searching the game's directory for its autorun executable, though I can't guarantee there is one on the Steam version.

Well, there's a slight problem with that...

I think I might be lucky because I actually own an origonal CD copy of the game and was able to put it in.  And get it to continue when that happened.

Since it uses dosbox and it does come with all the cd files in one of the folders somewhere I'm sure there's some way to configure dosbox to just look at that folder whenever it asks for it, I think I had to do something similar to make it see my physical CD.   I'm not a dosbox wizard though and don't remember/know how.   At the very least it might be worth a try to burn an iso of the cd data and see if it will read that.

I've been drinking coffee with steadily decreasing quantities of sugar recently. In the course of about a week, I've gone from two spoons being about right to being far too sweet and one flat spoon being good. I don't even.

Sweetness perception is weird. I've had the same thing lately, except with an OJ - the same brand I always drink has grown increasingly, intolerably sweet, and now fell back down again.

Okay Mosmetro... I am thankful for the free wifi thing you have going. And I get that ads bring you revenue. But why the hell do you think an unskippable video ad for condoms of all things on your login screen is a good idea?

Hey, safe sex practices are important, av. Arguably especially towards the demographics that are somewhat more likely to be using free wifi.

As a trained information security type, I am more concerned that they give short shrift to safe browsing, especially with the risky behavior of using an unsecured wifi.

Seriously-- unsecured Wifi is like allowing total strangers to attach ethernet cables to your device, and send it all the data they want to. That is the literal equivalent. 

All the other people attached to that hotspot can freely target your device, since there are no routers of any kind in the way. Don't you think you need some protection there?

Point one: commercial ads for condoms != safe sex PSAs. Especially when you have your sound on full and it suddenly starts to promise you erotic passion and like, skin to skin contact feeling or whatever. Also, ads for super expensive condoms don't exactly help educate the masses. Which this one was.

It was mostly a cheap joke about the possible content of a video ad for condoms. I'm too tired to make sophisticated jokes right now, which is rather sad.

It's weird knowing NanQuest has finished, I only started reading it about the end of last year, but its been going for the last six, now i've got that feeling I always get when i finish any piece of media with likeable and interesting characters, this sort of emotional fatigue where everything is just more tiring because of the lack of the media.

Can't wait for the inevitable Q&A though.
