Bah, "load bearing" just means "requires slightly more forethought". :P

Or in an alarming number of these cases, "Let's go rip some flaking lead-painted beams out of an abandoned barn and sell it to the schmucks as 'reclaimed wood'," apparently.

You people are all worse than Hitler.

To be fair, judging by what I know about the kid, he was just a conspiracy theorist with the right speeches in the right place at the right time for all the wrong reasons. There are MANY people worse then he was, but few in the right place to cause nearly as much damage.

Actually looking, back, at the recent, thread, of conversation, I think he's, making a grammar, nazi joke.

Now appropriate.

I guess it never clicks for me because I still think in terms of speaking.

Or

I guess, it never clicks for me, because, I still think in terms of speaking. (ugh that is an ugly sentence)

Looking at your posts here, I'd say that the problem is that you don't write enough like you speak or can't feel the connection between intonation and the written word.

Y'know, what we really need is grammar vikings.

I will rend your entrails from their mount and feast a murder of crows upon your decaying corpse for that grammatical abomination, milk drinker.

I believe you are mistaking "vikings" for fourteen-year-old metal kids trying to be edgy. Actual grammar vikings would speak in verse, be obsessed by aliteration and far-fetched metaphors, and generally drag on their speech for just too long to ever be particularly interesting.

And if they were Gutes they'd also be speaking backwards. ;)

EDIT: How has this "cheeky Nandos" thing managed to go on for so long? Can other people not infer by context what the phrase means? There's enough braindead fucks bandying it around.

Why would 'milk drinker' be a Viking insult?

Background: The above file is originally a binary file that looks very suspiciously like a bitmap. I wrote a short script that turns it into a viewable PNG file! this is a similar file, named cloth.raw. It's apparently used to help decide the colors for cloth items in Mabinogi.

They don't have a *separate* line tool. Because that would be redundant. You can draw straight lines by holding down Shift while using any drawing tool.

And here we see the appearance of the rare and previously presumed mythical grammar viking nazi. Go back to the fogs of nonexistence, grammar viking nazi.

Ok, then how about viewing layers.

I have never seen a program make me wonder if the Microsoft Paint program is better...

Usually everything you need is right on the screen... But Gimp is like Microsoft Word 2007... It hides everything you would need while giving you every option you don't need.

Here we go... you CAN'T get the layer screen back... you have to know the key...

There should be a tab on one of the tool menus you that shows you your layers. You can click to select your working layer, add new ones, merge, from that tab.

There's a 'Layers' dialog, either open by default or opened from the Windows menu.
