It's a bit past the expiration date on this, but that wasn't intended offensively -- the slang's used by the people into that fetish on that site and board possibly even more than anyone else. Same as calling /tg/ers fa/tg/uys (or ca/tg/irls, I suppose), you're not saying that they're literally all fat neckbeards, it's a part of the vernacular.

Or, for a more general example, something being referred to as "cool" might not, depending on context, mean that it is literally of a temperature lower than the ambient average.

It gets even worse when LGBT and "pro trans" movements actualy start adopting terms that once were used in the most offensive porn involving transgender people and start touting fetishists and people who get off to porn involving transgender people as "progressive" because apparently fapping to something means you completely accept it as an equal member of your society and totally dont objectify them.

I guess Five Nights at Freddy's is an honest-to-goodness franchise now. The speculated movie is apparently still in the works, and there's a fourth game coming as well. While I'm happy that the creator has found such massive success, it becomes mind-boggling the more you think about how this happened in less than a year.

Yeah, I considered adding an addendum saying something like "Dickgirl might be a different thing, though. I do know of *some* trans people using the term, and I haven't heard much against it. Not to mention that 'dickgirl' is usually used in terms of drawn porn, which I don't really give a shit about because it's not actual people. (I'll give a nod to people talking about normalization here, but it hasn't been proven for video game violence, I'd say the jury is still out)."

And, I mean, Alleecat herself used the term, so at least in-so-far as it relates to her spheres, I would consider it alright.

I guess my main point was, purely and simply, that the logic itself of "Porn users use the term, therefore it's okay," was a little wonky, which you said you can at least see the perspective of, so... WASTED POST!
