I half feel your pain, LS. Pretty much no one spells my name right. Get the pronunciation down easy, but the spelling, not so much. The best part is that a lot of times people backslide -- they'll get it right for a while and then go back to getting it wrong.

Presumably the wrong one is fairly common, so the mind just sort of defaults to it or somethin'.

If all we're given is that video, it's not hard to ignore the more outstanding issues, because save for the Youtube comments (reader beware, right?), it doesn't mention the lack of planets, space, or campaign.

That said, the footage from that video falls straight into uncanny valley somehow, maybe it's just how the editor chose to snip the clips. I think the only identifiably "video game" portions of the video were the four or so rebels running around. Anything after that appeared as some ungodly mess of (can you even call it such in a video game?) CGI.

Now, I have no particular fealty to the Battlefront series and don't consume EA's titles, but that was visually disturbing.

We've known about this for a long while, but some of us were holding out hope that despite that it would still be faithful to the series instead of a Battlefield clone. The trailer pretty much shot any hope of that in the head and looked like shit on top of it.

...Wait, since when was Battlefront ever not a Battlefield clone?

In actual WTF, it's almost 22 hours and somebody is frying onions in the dorm kitchen. I can get being hungry, and being hungry at this time, but making something onion based this late is fucking baffling. Unless you're completely drunk out of your mind, in which case it's an excellent idea, but the noise outside doesn't indicate the required levels of drunk for that.
