I guess there would be a reason why it popularised clickbait and is a browser narcotic, because it's kinda okay as a site that actually likes to talk about real problems and situations while keeping a light hearted tone (you don't want to learn when it's boring) and most of the articles now are fully researched and well thought out, I mean, if something popularises something it (most of the time) is because it's good and popular, if cracked wasn't popular, then it may never have popularised clickbait.

What's that thing even about, anyway? I've only ever heard references to it.

It's an adventure manga that starts off as a riff on journey to the west and kinda' rolls from there. Dragon Ball itself is actually pretty darn good for its time period -- one of the archetypal examples of a shonen manga, iirc -- for all it's a bit odd in places. I'd fairly honestly recommend it, though as serg notes it does have its perverse bits. Fairly tame ones -- certainly not particularly notable for a manga that started in the mid 80s, heh -- but they're there. Still, it's a fairly decent romp of a story.

It isn't entirely fair for incompetency to be laid at your feet.

Damn thing connected fine with no problems to my tablet, 2 phones, games console and the wifes laptop. But not mine. Oh no. Turns out connecting this heap of shit to a new wireless network involved digging deep into the connection settings and fiddling with all sorts of arcane functions, as my laptop for some reason does not quite have the ability to detect it as a network that is broadcasting its identity. I literally had to tell it what to look for and where to find it before it went "oh, there it is!"...

Yeh, that's the one I'd go with, but it depends on how respectful the manager expects you to be.

I agree clickbaity titles are awful, but beyond that, I've learned quite a bit from it. And have had a lot of good laughs, so I'd say the good far outweighs the bad.

A lot of their 'facts' tend to include some combination of 'no context', 'lie by omission', 'misrepresentation', and 'wrong'. But spawning clickbait and perpetuating list-based "articles" alone is enough for them to burn, never mind that most of their good writers are gone or bad now.
