Which isn't an entirely uncommon thing among radical/gender critical feminists even today. In fact, a certain "movement" that calls itself "deep green resistance", which is a radical environmentalist and feminist group that is very vocal in places like san francisco and are known for being extremely transphobic, not only has a guy for a leader, but a guy that writes books in which he's a self insert character that saves women from rape.
They also advocate "primitivism" IE they hate technology and civilization, and openly talk about how terrorist acts are a reasonable mean to achieve their goals.

That said, she does twig my Poe-senses a little bit because I've heard pretty much the exact same sort of scenario proposal pop up from completely different people via different sources, so I'm a teensy bit suspicious. That said, logic tells me it is a legitimate crazy, but my own sanity demands that I assume she's just a very dedicated troll.

I just saw some high school kids using duct tape to hook up a toboggan to a truck, like some sort of Ford-drawn-sleigh. There isn't even any snow on the roads, so I guess they're just going to go concrete sledding?

I just kind of realized that I'll probably never play Dwarf Fortress again.

I put it on the backburner for a while waiting for it to sort of get better. Then when it got better it became absolutely unplayable... and with each new addition it becomes more and more unplayable and unfun.

People treat the game like a toy "Look what stupid thing I did" and I just sort of sigh because that is how you play the game. Yet the game shows absolutely no signs of ever trying to improve itself.

Why am I here anymore? The game is broken forever. It will always be this unfun jumbled pile of garbage.

Femtheist is 100% a troll, or quite possibly a castration fetishist. You'll note how all the people who "advocate" for this sort of thing go into great detail of how there will be lots of men forced into public nudity and humiliation.

So wait, how did you expect it to get better? The UI?

It is a long list... but just basic "getting stuff done" was something I wanted to see improved.

It used to be what when I was making character I could just make a character.

Now I have to build a character specifically because the game outright counters certain choices you make. Then I have to play EXACTLY the way the game wants me to with no deviation.

I have to mod the game so it won't break, limit the time, limit the space, limit the variety... just so the game stays fun.

By modding the game so it won't break, do you mean glitches or gameplay? Because I'm running it on a wonky 'nix installation with no problems whatsoever - maybe it's something about your setup? I'm not sure what do you mean by the "look what stupid thing I did" complaint, too - do you mean the fact that the game has no actual goal?

You're kind of being very non-specific there - I can see you're upset with it, but your upset-ness is making your actual complaints a bit hard to understand.

If you run world gen too long or too big the world turns to mush, if you make too many megabeasts the world depopulates... things like that.

I didn't even notice how much I've been increasingly disliking the game until someone made a comment on how I frequent the lower boards...

and I was like "Wait, I didn't always frequent the lower boards I used to be exclusively in the higher boards"... Then I looked at my last two suggestions which were basic improvements to the game that were shot down because it is removing "features" that just bogged the game down in needless tedium.
