You can make a milkshake using milk, ice, and something for flavoring. It's not a very good milkshake, but it is a milkshake.

Smoothies are more blended fruit and ice, often with frozen yogurt as well. Not really shaved ice :l

Or stuff with shaved ice in it, I guess. Either/or. Amounts to the same thing. All shaved ice is is blended ice, hopefully with some kind of flavoring. Last I checked, anyway. Though to be fair, it's been like fifteen years or something since the last time I ate shaved ice. Things may have changed in the interim.

E: And point, GO. I guess you could do soy milk and non-dairy yogurt? Though there's non-dairy ice cream, too, so that's probably an option. Forgot about those unholy abominations things.
