My college's Powerless Token Student Government is having elections and based on the campaigning it appears to be the Social Justice Squad versus the Fraternity Dudebro Coalition. And old people wonder why the "millennials" are politically disillusioned, when even inconsequential popularity contests are bitterly divided false dichotomies.

Wait, your college's student government is actually powerless? Our's is a total reversal from the powerless ones back in high school and earlier, now they have actual power to change things... but you don't know who any of them are! It went from being a completely powerless puppet government into a shadowy coalition that pulls strings from behind the scenes in a single year.

Yes it actualy is a different war. Apparently it was caused by a monarchist faction rising and taking control of a part of the US, and now both states are fighting eachother for control of their respective cores, or something.

Well, here's some happy material that I'm posting here because it's relevant: turns out my initial concerns weren't entirely accurate. The Frat Dudebro Party is actually more reasonable (and sensitive) than it looked - their campaign materials are just a bit misleading; they're more of a populist party that consequently is trying to appeal to various broad groups. The Social Justice Squad is still kind of loony, though.

Where people rant horrid, often threatening, often racist, and unrelated remarks at youtube video comment sections, and innocent people who chose to comment upon that video. They then will not blink at this but will bite the head off some poor soul who mistakenly uses "your" instead of "you're."
