For all they're occasionally... well, stuff like that, they're usually really damn awesome and I will cheerfully defend my dream-brain to the death. Other people are welcome to their own dreams of glory, but they can't have mine.

I mean, hell, that one involved impromptu street-fighter style combat with people knocking on my door, who then got fed to the hyena-dog. I got to do the spinny thing and everything. Was just the whole feeding people to dog thing that was out there. Dat hyena laugh ;_;

E: Also the lead-up involved this incredible buffet thing, where instead of plates you got hamburger buns basically the size of your head. It was pretty amazing.

E2: Though that and the unsettling body disposal were unreleated.

I think the DM may be planning to kill the party. Said he'd be surprised if any of us survive the next encounter.

I don't think I share his views on the game. He said that you don't build characters in a way that makes playing the game fun; you build characters so that they will always survive an encounter. He gets accused of min-maxing and meta-gaming a lot as a player, and his reply is usually along the lines of "but it keeps my character alive".
