I am curious to know what "one night" means in my mother's mind. It's been nearly three weeks, and my stepdad's son is still coming in at around 3AM, despite me being told he specifically was NOT going to do that. This morning, not only did it wake me up, I woke up to his smartphone's flashlight floodlight just inches from my eyes.

Sunday, I came home from doing laundry, my room smelled of weed. My stepdad denied that such a thing was possible, but admitted when he thought I was out of earshot that I was right. Later on, while searching for something in that part of the room, I smelled it again, unmistakably from that area.

If this is his plan, crowding me out with his own spawn, it's not going to work. I'm taking $10 off the rent for every night he spends in there, something I'm pretty sure I have every right to do.

WHY did the international community decide to replace GMT with CET and such? GMT was so much simpler. Now I have to consult google every time I hear someone use the new versions.

It's like going 'OK, the school year system in Britain is nice and easy to remember (It goes from year 1 to year 13), lets replace it with the French system for naming each year!'

The French system is perfectly logical and easy to remember. It just doesn't translate well.

Belgian system is most logical of all, and breaks education into four rather distinct parts. (Kindergarten, elementary, middle and college/uni), which are just numbered chronologically.

So I have some Pancake mix

And for the longest time I thought my dad just made REALLY lousy Pancakes (and heck, maybe he still does)

But my Sister found out that if you just add a little extra water... the pancakes that were once hard, huge, and unwieldy... Suddenly were thin, soft, and fluffy.
