This is the same project as I mentioned a few days ago, with the incredibly bossy girl.

I have had to do almost all of my projects in college with her. It's terrible.

Could be she's just saying this. If you can text the others in the group, ask them about the meeting, and what was discussed.

Got several texts from a project partner today. Apparently there was supposed to be a team meeting today. I was not aware.

Apparently "we as a group decided that you haven't contributed enough to the project". Despite the fact that this would have been the first meeting, and as far as I know, nobody has really started on it yet. I have about a page or so in answers that address each question, but I don't know what anyone has done so far.

Apparently now I'm being assigned by the group to answer questions one through four, with at least two pages on content for each answer, as punishment for not showing up. There's only four questions in the assignment. I also have to proofread and edit.

Looks like I'm both the one doing all the work and the one going under the bus.
Yeah, if they are making you do all the work, just do it, then talk to the teacher about it and tell him they refused to do any work at all and that you did it all.

Uh.  Either there was a typo in that, or they literally asked you to do literally all the work?
If it wasn't a typo, I would show a teacher that text.  When that one person wasn't going to contribute, that's one (super common) thing - probably not worth reporting and dealing with the fallout - but a text like that is certainly big enough to go to the authorities with.

If you're going to report it, the sooner the better.  Gives them the teacher time to investigate and make a decision.  Last minute complaints look like excuses, even if they aren't.

... between yesterday and today, sixty gigs of free space has appeared on my hard drive. I... haven't personally deleted anything during that period.

Did your porn or music collection spontaneously become sapient and seek out greener pastures?  :P

No... everything actually appears to still be there. Certainly all the major size contributors I personally use are still more or less the same size I remember them being. I'm currently running windirstat to see if I can notice anything odd having happened regarding the drive's visualization, but...

E: It's faintly disturbing to have this much free space, though. I'll need to stick more stuff into the computer soon -- it's been months since I had more than 30 gigs free, and years since I had more than 50 or so. Nearly a hundred is just... it's against the natural order of frumplelian hard drives.

Some automated maintenance process may have cleared out your temp files or similar. Those can reach rather massive sizes.

@ aky: I shift-delete everything I delete :P

And yeah sho, that's actually what I'm figuring has happened, but it's still something of a shock.

E: Yup, looks like some of the temp folders or whatev' have decided to walk off. Good riddance.

E2: Though can I just say that stuff like WinDirStat is just the best thing ever for hard drive space management? Having something that sorts your entire drive by space consumption is just ridiculously useful when you need to prune stuff.

Another partner just texted me asking me to come to a meeting later this week so that we can "get a good head start on the project".

Either they didn't have a meeting today or they didn't do anything during it.
