This is a map of conflicts currently occuring in the world. The darker the colour, the worse it is.

Look at Africa.

Nobody is saying there's no conflict in Africa. People are reacting to the nonsensical sentiment that black people would be more prone to conflict than others.

I never said that black people are mpre prone to cpnflict than other races, I said that africa is more prone to cpnfloct than other continents, which the map confirms.

And it is because of racism that these conflicts are so sickening, and why the historical issues on south africa are in a way less so. Whites hating blacks or blacks hating whites is a lazy, low cost of entry sort of racism, anybody with even partially functional eyes can say "hey. that person looks different than me.", but to discriminate specifically against Tutsis, or specifically against Hutus takes a higher level of devotion to one's racist beliefs.

Another part of it is how the borders are all completely artificial and drawn largely by Europeans who wanted to get the fuck out quickly rather than build functioning nation-states of similar cultures. Which makes sense from the European side of things but did kind of put Africa in a bad spot.

There are a lot of socio-political issues causing Africa's continental problems, and at this point it may be smarter to just pull all the aid out and let natural selection do it's amoral, brutal thing. Unfortunately, stabilization efforts by "MUST DEFEAT EVIL COMMUNISTS IN CHINA AND RUSSIA" America and "WE MUST BE STRONK" Russia and "ORDER ORDER ORDER" China aren't particularly useful. Europe would be able to help if they weren't the ones who screwed the Africans in the first place. South America is too poor (save Brazil, who seem to be pretty quiet about everything right now) and the genral political situation around the world is unstable due to the end of the cold war and America's continuing inability to successfully fight off guerilla tactics.

Or, we go in there, recolonize the area, and then decolonize like sensible people. But that would be bad, because colonization.

It used to be THE example of a free country back in the cold war, effectively it was the military might of the Western Bloc, it's freedom contrasted with the Eastern Bloc. Times have changed though, America is generally beaten in many regards by other countries, even if it's still pretty up there in comparison to the rest of the world.
