Yeah. That sounds about par for the course for africa. I mean, it's usually one group of black people oppressing another group of black people, and it often gets more violent (like in Rawanda), but other than that it's pretty standard.

I was under the impression that Africa is mostly oppressed by white businessmen.
At least that's how I understand about why they are so poor. It's likely not overpopulation because the chinese fuck like rabbits too.

While europe (and even the US, to some extent) to blame for several of africa's issues, we cant ignore that war, genocide and systematic opression was very much a reality in several places in africa before significant european influence took over. The hutu and the tutsis have been in involved in a war of extermination against eachother for a loooooooooooong time, and lets not forget the bushmen genocide and the atrocities commited against smaller groups in congo, not to mention the fact muhammad endorsed and caused the extinction of several african tribes during islam's expansion, some of it being detailed in the Quran.

I'm not sure if the Hutu and Tutsi is a good example there, considering that the division between them got amplified by the interference of European Colonists. Not to say that nothing happened prior to that, but they made it a loooot worse.
