Thats not a flappy bird thing, thats just mobile games being terrible afaik. You make something cool and decide to put it on mobile? You will get cloned and/or ripped off. And then forgotten about if they get more successful, prob'ly.

It is also a Flappy Bird thing especially. Once the creator deleted his copy everyone else saw a position to move in and take over the vacuum that the deletion of the original created.
Why anyone would actually have more than a single clone of it at once on their phone (since they are all probably pretty much identical, as they are clones) is beyond me though.

The reason I play online games is because of my friends. The reason I hate online games is because of friends. One in particular that insists I help him with a lot of stuff, even when I don't want to.

He wants to go dungeon running, and I must stop what I'm doing so that he can beat queue times. But if I want to run a dungeon, he'll only help if he gets something out of it. I had to run the same dungeon with him for almost two hours, until he rage-quit after not getting the drop he was looking for. He also calls dibs on items, telling us all to not roll for them because he wants all the loot.

Then there's controlling of what I do. "You can't do dungeon X without everyone else. Oh by the way, I did dungeons A, B, C, and D without you". He took over our guild's last raid night, and made us farm a single boss for over three hours, even though he was the only one that benefited from that. Come to think of it, we have yet to actually do a proper raid-night, despite having tried to get one done in months. That I know of, anyways. They probably did a bit without me, and told everyone not to tell me.

He also tends to bitch out or mock other players in parties, regardless of whether they are friends, guild-mates, or randoms that were tossed in with us through the party-finder.

That all seems like Grade A BS from your school and parents.

Does your school have various clubs, with the means for students to start their own? If they do, maybe you should gather some friends and try to start a "Courtesy Club" thing that tries to get people to be nicer less asshole-y.

You can tell him to screw off. If he stops being a friend because of that he's hardly a good one.

+1 If he doesn't contribute much at all, there's no reason to stick with him.

I can count my friends on my fingers. I don't have many, and most of them are also friends with each-other.

If they want me to do something, I'll do it, even if I don't want to. Then again, if anyone wants me to do something, I'll probably do it, even if I don't want to.
