Because while it is a parody, it kind of wears out its welcome rather quickly often times trying too hard to be a parody and not enough being a game.

So, for example, it time skips like crazy in order to disorient you so you don't know what time it is, if it is the same day, or even what time of day it is... as a parody... Which would be funny except it just kind of gets in the way of you even knowing what is happening even as a parody.

It makes me think it is popular as a game everyone knows exists but few people ever actually play.

There's a clique of boys in the seventh grade called the 'Mad Crappers'.

There was (at least one) person that was called that in my father's (semi-)childhood. I think I might know what it is.
