You're asking the wrong question, which should be, namely, "How do I kill this monstrosity?". To which the answer is a large textbook or similar object descending immediately upon removal of the cup. (Or alternatively you could just put something on top of the cup so it didn't get knocked over and wait a day or two for it to die of dehydration).

Had baby's first hangover this morning- had a whole bottle of Malbec last night skyping with friends and didn't think to get any water until about glass #3.

That's it for the booze for a while, and for high amounts of it for even longer. I don't drink often (about once a week, sometimes once every two), but I prefer to be productive in the mornings, which is difficult to do with a bad headache, and this gave me a good scare.

Also found out in the course of said Skype conversation that my ex, who's still a very good friend, tried to kill herself in high school. She's better now, but...

Though personally I feel that that specific point about their uses of the head tails being used as a point against them is a flawed argument since it's a part of their biology and ecosystem that is alien enough that human values can't be completely considered to apply in that context. As bizarre and ridiculous a piece of biology as it is.

Of course. Pretty much every character in the film was a tosser, it's just that the non-scientist humans were straightforward about it. I'd rather someone be candid and open about how terrible they are. And since they were arbitrarily shoehorned into the DURR WE R EBUL side of Cameron's primary school morality, they're slightly more sympathetic to me simply by virtue of not being wanked by that hack.

But then I was like "No.... that won't end well..." but dang if it isn't an interesting subject.

Because classical thinking is that men are terrified of pregnancy... but I wonder if that is entirely true, that if given a choice a man wouldn't willingly go through it.

Personally, hell naw. Too much pain. I'm not scared of the concept of pregnancy, I just don't want to go through the excruciating process of actually experiencing it. Especially if we didn't get all the natural painkillers released by our body like women do.

I watched Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog episode 2, "Underground Sonic".  I really have no idea how to process that cartoon.  And I say this as someone who has played and watched a lot of Sonic.

Of course, the only thing I remember from AoStH is the theme song originally (I have ep. 1 on my hard drive from my almost 10-years defunct fansite) so I really have no idea what to think of it.  I also have the better Sonic SatAM episodes, but the show takes itself too seriously sometimes.

And looking at the above posts, I am glad to have missed that conversation.
