Hi Ben, Hi Ruth, view your dream home this valentines weekend
Title of an email I just got from a house hunting site I use. I don't know anyone called Ruth so I presume it's a profiling fail.
Try shaving in the shower without cream, and then with it. If you can, swing for more blades. Like 4. If not, mind the bump, so to speak
The steam and heat helps.
Have to disagree here; The only way I can clean shave without issue is with cream and a single blade safety razor (sharp edge on either side), the rest of what you say is spot on. Extra blades reliably cause me more irritation for some reason.
The biggest mistake I've made is not thoroughly cleaning the skin under the hair or keeping it warm enough (makes the hairs stand up). Use fresh blades or keep them in isopropyl alcohol between uses to stop microscopic rust cutting you. One other advantage with a safety razor is that the blades are much cheaper than more modern style razors and despite thick hair I've never needed more than one for a full shave.
The heat thing also helps with trimming an existing beard (hot towels). One thing to remember when trimming moustaches is that the hairs will appear shorter when dry so be careful cutting them wet.
I'm hoping mine gets less blonde D:
Most in my family have hair from brown to dirty blonde, but occasionally there is someone with a red beard and no other red hair, my brother is displeased with this for some reason (I think it looks cool on him).
