Implementing Battleships in Java without using two-dimensional arrays is weird.

If it has a fixed size, then it's really simple to do, isn't it?

The ships can be any size, and there can be any number of ships.

It's mostly odd because it would be quicker and easier using 2D arrays, but I'm not supposed to know how to use those.

Is this month the month of Gender and Racial issues? I can't escape it and now I am finding I have to not give the WTF here almost daily. With articles and videos just constantly bringing it up when usually they would just go "uhhh well that was uncomfortable". I just watched a video that brought up both of these.

Today's WTF the concept of racial exclusivity of cultural aspects.

Honestly how does this make sense? >_<

It reminds me of Quebec where they banned store signs that weren't in French... Except when Quebec did it, they were vilified for it by the outside population (And people inside Quebec).

Still alive and an issue. Well, there can be other languages, but the French must be dominant. There was a fight with an Italian restaurant because the name was an Italian word (thankfully sanity won there at least). Quebec is like our slightly nutty brother. We love him dearly, but good lord can he be a crackpot. Always yelling at the dinner table too.

Ok... Now imagine if the rest of Canada proclaimed that no signs may be in French because it was an exclusive Quebec thing (ignoring that French is the primary language of two provinces in Canada)... and people agreed with it.

Edit: OHH GAWD!!! I just realized what I am unintentionally implying... NO!!! NO!!! I don't mean the N-word. That is a black hole that should not be discussed here.

I saw someone on /k/ today who said, and I paraphrase (The original message was a bit... ruder.);

How in the world can someone on a firearms related imageboard be this unknowledgeable about firearms? Seriously, WTF?

Your class sounds terrible.  I would totally snark it up and do 'the easy way (see attached pages for hard way)' and hand it in done in arrays, then done in some ridiculous over the top fashion using technically only things that have been taught so far, with snarkier and snarkier variables and comments the entire way thru.

Your class sounds terrible.  I would totally snark it up and do 'the easy way (see attached pages for hard way)' and hand it in done in arrays, then done in some ridiculous over the top fashion using technically only things that have been taught so far, with snarkier and snarkier variables and comments the entire way thru.

Then throw in a C++ equivalent program, written in snarky doge preprocessor style.

In the same way that I doubt a lot of people here are DF experts, just because he's in a gun-related place doesn't mean he actually knows anything about them.
