So I just found out that the thing one of my housemates went to the hospital for last week was, in fact, Appendicitis. The same thing I had the week prior. I'm pretty sure it's not contagious...

After I got done shopping at the local mall tonight there was a sign on the exit that said “This isn’t goodbye.”  On the way to my car I walked past someone who shouted at me that they knew who I was but then just kept walking like nothing had happened.  When I reached my car and started it up Somebody’s Watching Me was playing on the radio.  For some reason these three coincidental events have given me a strange feeling of unease for the rest of the night.

Next thing you know you are going to get that phone call that tells you to duck in 30 seconds before running out into the street and getting in the car that's stopped there.

Also, if you ever find yourself in a casino and decide to exit it as fast as possible, if a slightly fat Italian-looking guy on a phone hands you a piece of paper with a "message for you" on it, READ THE DAMN MESSAGE.

I had one guy lodging an objection of partiality against me, because I didn't give him the original of court record. I was more than happy to give him copy of it, but no, he had to get the original. Also accused me of fraud, trying to weasel money from him, and many other happy things.

Some people are just inherently stupid, and common criminals aren't the sharpest tools in shed.

The poop I just took was freaking intense.
The pooping itself wasn't a particularly unpleasant experience, but the stuff in the bowl afterwards looked like some sort of alien FX from a B-grade horror film. I'm glad it was mostly covered by TP by the time I glanced at it.

That does indeed match what I remember of Wisconsin, but unfortunately I live in Kentucky, where an inch of snow gets people out of work and school, and where nobody knows how to drive on ice. It's funny as hell watching entire lines of traffic sliding down hills, though, since the brine trucks are unfailingly never ready for the first ice storm of the winter.
