I actually wanna see that movie now just because of all the crap that's been trying to make it unwatchable. Even though I'm sure it can't be good.

There's a term for that, where trying to cover something up leads to a massive outburst of even more publicity.
I can't remember the name of it, however.

I would just love it if North Korea got mad and nuked the home of the mainstream film industry. Then of course the USA would vaporize North Korea in its entirety in retaliation... two birds, one stone.

Unfortunately Streisand effect doesn't cover this, since now North Korea can say it terrified a pitiful American company into doing what it wants. To the extent they wished to make an example of Sony, they succeeded.

Frankly it's a stretch to believe they could get a bomb to the west coast. The east coast is totally safe from them.

And even if its not the site of the premier, Hollywood would still be a valid target because it's the home of the film industry.

That's pretty shoddy reasoning, but it is rare. About one percent, IIRC.
