By my shitty analysis, the stigma against neckbeards originates from the fact that the neckbeard is a more or less "natural" and easily maintained pattern for men's facial hair, even below other beard styles which at least require some grooming. Therefore, men who are considered lazy and socially awkward are associated with a low-maintenance and unattractive style of facial hair.

With women, who don't typically have facial hair, the societal stigma is instead against hairy legs, of course. Therefore, a "legbeard" would be a woman who doesn't shave her legs, purportedly for the same reasons (laziness, not following social norms).

I actually came up with the above analysis on my own, but the people of Urban Dictionary say basically the same thing in TL;DR mode:

The female equivalent of neckbeard. Just as lazy, overweight men are associated with a lack of grooming leading to beards covering the neck, women of similar status may have hairy legs.

Legbeard etymologically descends from neckbeard though other terms formed independently for what would be the female analogue of the neckbeard stereotype, so legbeard usually takes a backseat to more common colloquialisms.
The implication for neckbeard and legbeard is that the bearer of such a title is one, a combination or all of:

• A member of the untouchable hindu caste.
• Completely socially unaware or deliberately neet (sometimes a badge of pride, proving you are not a filthy casual).
• Do not care about their own appearance and are incongruous to casual common society.

Well it is a world where men seem to be second class citizens where even the IDEA of a man doing anything for themselves is constantly pointed out over and over again. Where Spidergirl constantly needs to mention how Spiderman is a guy, constantly refers to him as weak and inept, and constantly needs to reaffirm how much superior she is because she is a girl and he is a boy.

Yeah I do mean literal.

I'm starting to feel a great and growing amount of anxiety that stems from the lack of snow. There was a little bit of snow a month or so ago, but now it's almost all totally melted. It's never been so not snowy this late in the year. Like. Ever. A couple of years ago we had like 2-3 feet at this time. Hell, and I've moved up north since then.

Ug. I sorta like the snow. It's calming at least. And I got a bunch of cold weather clothing. But now I might as well be going out with just shorts and a t shirt.

And here I was just happy to see the ground for a few short hours after it melted the 15" of snow that remained from weeks ago, and now it's going to snow more again.

At least the thick fog (as in, can't see across the street) that persisted through the weekend is gone.
