What'd you expect? :P
It's just a single track, a default ASCII tileset and the intro movie, after all.

DF is also very, very small, with very rudimentary graphics and sound.

Most games are much harder to break down in that manner because the data's very intermingled. However, for another example, Fallout New Vegas (lightly modded) takes up 9.47 GB. Voices, meshes, textures, and sound take up 5.28 GB, not counting any such things that might be bundled into the DLCs which range around 700 MB each.

Okay, that's a WTF: Why do people think there's only a single track in DF? I'm not being passive-aggressive by using "people" to mean "just you", mind, this is a very common mistake.

There are two music pieces included, song_title.ogg and song_game.ogg.

Note also that the measurement I had was with two songs that are larger than the vanilla ones, looped versions of Crystalguitarthemums and A Study in Skaia.

Can't tell if what I wanted to say would be a compliment or an insult.

You can't tell the difference between the title music which starts out with a few high notes and plays around, from the in-game music which keeps a steady, low-tone rhythm on repeat?

I think it's because the main game theme is so well looped and flows into itself so well that I've never been able to point where it begins and where it ends.

Hypnotizing.

The birds around here are more nocturnal than the bats. All the bats went to bed at 9pm. Now there is just tonns of birds, at 1am.

Okay, that was odd. For a few minutes my mouse randomly decided that left click should open links in new windows, that scrolling the wheel wanted me to move through my browser's history, and that left clicking on taskbar icons should bring up the "do you want this program to make changes to your computer?" window. It's stopped now, but I have no idea why it happened in the first place.

Perhaps a key got stuck down? I've had it happen with control and alt keys before.

Having a key stuck is especially fun if it's the backspace key.

Almost got into a fight with someone last night who thought I was someone else. "Are you X? I'm going to kick your head in!"

Then another random woman said, "No, she's Y" (not actually my name and I have no idea who these people are what is happening). I think the new woman defended me because I let her wear my hat. (I have a hat now. Hats are cool.)

But I decided to be the name this new person called me so I didn't get into a fight. On leaving, two police vans were showing their beams until everyone dispersed because multiple fights were gonna breakout. This town is pretty shitty.

Huh. I just tried using Dwarf Fortress as another example, but as it turns out the media files in it are barely anything.
Actually, if you're looking for a similarly low-rez game that is an example, ToME 4 is a damned good one. The actual game data (for the no music version) is something like 20 megs -- the remaining ~130 megs of the program is entirely graphics. The music adds something like another 120 megs :-\
