Teacher in communications class mentioned she 'loathed' something. Queue one chunk of the class asking what 'loath' means, and another thought she mispronounced 'love'.

During the test in that class, several students tried to call her over because they didn't understand the word 'plagiarism' in a question. Some couldn't even pronounce it, and were unable to recognize the word. It's worth noting that the question asked you to define what plagiarism was.

Also, I discovered that this cartoon exists.

I would ask why you were defining plagiarism in a communications course, but  I guess the better question is if ENG101 is a prereq for COM.

Finished watching one of those movies with the silver eyed badass in space, the one with the people with sharp pointies and wacked religions?
Anyways, I find myself humming the tune of the main song in a childs movie based on a number of middle-eastern stories, one with the wish-granting person, the large striped feline, the random chittering tailed primate?  I just think thats odd.
Roderic, the "prince allee, marvelous he" from Aladdin. Since I last watched that... 14 years ago?
Then I felt the need to write it up in this way.

The prerequisite for this course was another communications course in first year. This course focuses on how to write reports, letter, and presentations. The one we take in first year teaches the difference between their, there, and they're.

It's like being back in grade school.
