I was thoroughly screamed at today by some guy's mom for "screwing him over."

Turns out there were two different representatives for this guy and he was talking about the other one "hosing him." His mom got out several profanities I had never heard until I started associating with criminals/defending them. She may have made some new ones for good measure.

I'm not entirely sure what a "Patriot fist fucking Deermoe" is but I'm sure it's slavic and not nice. There were numerous other unprintable phrases in at least two or three languages I don't speak well enough to understand fully, but I caught some Polish in there. She tried to stomp on my foot once right before her son explained that I was the one who didn't screw him. Set him up with intervention through the Alternate Veteran's Court I helped create....

I just smiled, brushed it off and said it was fine. I lied.

The guy recognized how I was assessing the situation and knew it wasn't. She was clueless.

Edit: It just hit me that "Der'mo" might be Russian for "Shit." She just said it in a way I wasn't accustomed to hearing it before. Go figure. Hehehe

You know what's fun? Going about your day, just happening to glance down at your hand, seeing blood on it, and realizing that you've skinned a knuckle without even noticing.

AC1: New and great, but seriously unpolished
AC2: Same thing, but polished, longer, more varied and with (relatively) more human characters
Brotherhood: Exact same thing with same main character, but now with suprisingly good multiplayer ripped off an indie game, and terribad single player.
Revelations: Actually the exact same thing as the past two games, no real point to this one besides money for Ubisoft
AC3: Different, but also kinda worse
Black Flag: ♪♫ DO WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE ♫♪♫
Unity: Female hoods are hard to animate.

AC1, Altair: Bad ass Mary Sue kind of character pretty much devoid of personality.
AC2, Ezio: Smarmy dickhead that people liked for some reason.
AC3, Connor: A robot completely devoid of any personality traits whatsoever.
Blag Flag, Kenway: Holy shit a bad ass pirate captain who actually has interesting character traits it's too bad all the story missions are shit.
Unity, Don't Care: Literally just a French Ezio. There is nothing different about him. Like, at all.
Rogue, Some Chick: Probably a terrible, ineffectual character because game devs usually can't get female characters right.

2, Brotherhood and Revalations were fun for one main reason:
Ezio. He was a fun character, and you got to see him grow throughout the three games. Fantastic protagonist. Also, the cities and such were fucking lovely.

And Black Flag was AMAZEBALLS

Honestly, I hated Ezio in AC2. He was a little better in the others, but I still liked the other characters better in those games than Ezio.

Black Flag was great up until the last 1/3^rd of the game where it just got really tedious with the tailing missions. Eventually I gave up on it and pretty much the series as a whole after that.

I pray that someday Armored Core experiences a surge of popularity and retakes the acronym that is rightfully their.

...well technically it rightfully belongs to Ace Combat but still!

Assassin's Creed takes the acronym because it takes longer to type Assassin's Creed than Armored Core or Ace Combat.

Armored Core is awesome and hardcore as hell.

My bias towards Ace Combat is obvious to anyone who's ever seen me talk about it. Keiki Kobayashi composing Smash Bros. 4's theme is the most exciting part about that game to me.

I have only been in the same house as someone playing an Assassin's Creed game once.
