My job at points in time linked up with dealing with some emergency calls (from the office) the fire department also responded to. Specifically Carbon Monoxide calls. Multiple times a winter we would get CO with symptoms, and it was from someone BBQing in their garage. They were un-canadian and deserved it I said (never any fatalities, so I can say that and not sound like an ass).

Every time you think you know something you dig deeper and find out what you knew was a complete lie told to you because it is easier to understand.

Then after that happens you dig deeper and find another lie, then another, then another, until finally you get to the center.

History? "Yeah you know all those lessons about World War 1 in elementary school? Yeah we were lying this is what actually happened!" Repeat until you are getting your PHD in history.
