This, pretty much. Well, he was kinda on the deep end when it came to Islam and middle eastern politics, but I always considered him an authentic voice from Israel - which is much, much better regardless of content than the n-th circlewank by Westerners about Israel being a cunt. Plus he wasn't an unreasonable fellow - just go look at the early Ukraine threads: He came in there spouting misinformation about the Euromaidan being composed of fascists, but eventually he came around.
TL;DR: He was difficult, but not extraordinarily so.
