I had an... interesting start to my Skyward Sword Hero Mode run yesterday and today, mostly about how trippy the thing is in hindsight The entire thing would need a thread of its own, but this bit was particularly funny, considering the fact I named myself "Lon'qu" for the lulz.

I was around a half hour into the game and got to the Sealed Grounds. I slash the Deku Babas and proceeded to the ridge of the canyon. I get the cutscene and see the Imprisoned's face gaping at me from down there, make jokes about being high as a kite Skyloft, and suddenly, Link grabs his head and the screen shakes--the exact same thing that happens when Validar screws with your head in Fire Emblem: Awakening.

The only logical conclusion, therefore, is that the Imprisoned will claim that he's Link's father.

The whole rest of my playthrough was WTF-worthy as a result of things like the art style and giant 'shrooms in the forest, but that one bit stood out.

Yeah, there's a thread that popped up recently.

I've been here long enough to know about the kitchen bots. What has just occurred to me now is "why kitchens?" I want to know why - out of all the possible spambots to target the forum - kitchens are the thing that wins out. I mean, really. We spend more time going on about demons and child soldiers than sodding kitchens.

I asked myself the same question earlier. I can only guess that we actually talk about what our dorfs are whipping up in the kitchens more than we think. Mentions of food industry, prepared meals, booze, anything related to food, might be prompting automated search functions to target this forum as a place that revolves around kitchens more than anything else. That, and murder and child abuse aren't really marketable products...
