Writing pages after pages of dense jargon-filled prose for my linguistics class seems to induce high-falutin' spellings. How else am I to explain the behavior of Tagalog vowels when a consonant cluster "phollows" them?

So I guess that's MY WTF of the day.

I don't see a reason not to talk about it. Some other drivers (past and present) are making a claim that my company's per diem payment option failed to meet minimum wage requirements, and thus are suing. Drivers on the "per diem" plan basically get a slightly reduced pay per mile rate, and in exchange receive a daily lump sum designed to cover for over-the-road living expenses, mainly food.

I was only on this option for a couple of months before I took a regional route, which does not qualify for the per diem plan and thus I defaulted to the standard plan. Because of those couple of months, I am eligible to take part in the class-action suit.

I am NOT going to do that, however. I have no desire to get involved in a case that will likely take years to settle, and although I do have complaints about my job sometimes it has nothing to do with how I got paid back in those months. So yeah.
