Ugh someone I really liked but who I always kept a respectable distance, because they made it clear they weren't interested, suddenly started to become really affectionate and it totally threw me off >_<

They were always... kind of charming but cold to me otherwise. Friendly but with that sort of "at arms length" sort of deal.

Given that we're part of nature, if we do it, then it is natural. Killing, for example, is natural.
Whether or not homosexuality is natural is irrelevant.

The whole argument is stupid, if it happens its almost by definition "natural".  And that changes nothing.  Planetwide extinctions are natural, doesn't mean they're good.

What this is in reference to, smj, is the APA folding autism, Asperger's, and PDD into a single definition in the 5th ed. of their manual; part of the effect of that is that a number (IIRC ~75% of Aspergers-diagnosed, among others) of "higher functioning" individuals would no longer be included in the new autism spectrum. Sort of a mixed bag: on the one hand, there's potentially lower support from the medical community, but on the other it's a step towards a world where any deviation from the "norm" of human behavior isn't automatically considered to be a disorder or something "wrong" with a given individual.
