The Chapter where Grey explains why Ana is wrong for being upset that he abused her and she should just accept that he is allowed to hit her whenever he wants whether she likes it or not and her going along with it because she knows he will do it anyway or might leave her...

I CANNOT imagine that chapter being very funny when read aloud. Heck the "Lets Read" was as hilarious as possible (I'd honestly would recommend the Lets Read I am reading to everyone who wants some serious and hilarious analysis of the book) and even it just boiled into "Ok, this isn't funny anymore".

NOW the scene where they actually go on a date... and he constantly tells her what to eat, and their only conversation is very tepid "who are you related to"... Now THAT was funny.

I am honestly scared witless that there is going to be a movie.
