Apparently my school blocks the Bay12games website[Bay12GAMEs, not Bay12 FORUMS]. Which is understandable. Why? Because apparently LCS advocates irresponsible gun use. I mean, of all the reasons to block Bay12, that wouldn't be MY first pick.

Can't blame them to be honest

Between DF and LCS, if I had to block just one, I'd block LCS. May sound stupid, but hey, that's my logic.

Just look at the content of LCS compared to DF. Sure DF had more gore, but overall, LCS is more mature, and would probably get an M rating(or AO) if the ESRB had to give it a score.

Past that, feel free to tell me I'm wrong.

My school allows the Bay 12 Forums, B12 Games, Cataclysm DDA forums and all that jazz, but it blocks Imgur for being a visual search engine or something.

I had a school that tried removing solitaire from the computers once, a while later we got told that it was still there because of 'stability issues with windows' or something. I think they just did it badly and screwed up the computer they were using to test it with.

Probably.

At the beginning of this year, they made a list of apps they'd block from the iPads for "being a distraction". It was basically made up of apps that nobody had ever heard of. However, Clash Of Clans, a crappy skinning box game that people had been playing in class since Day 1, was not on the list.

They also mentioned they'd be blocking some of the more popular "gaming websites". Upon investigating, I found that the Minecraft website was the only one that seemed to be blocked, and Java doesn't work on iPads anyway.

Minecraft PE is nowhere near the same as normal minecraft, though.

I'm pretty sure that these forums are blocked at my school. If anything, it would be because the software blocks nearly every forum just for being just plain distracting. it doesn't block some of the programming forums (Lazarus, Delphi, FreePascal etc.) though, mostly because we often need them.

Damn SIGSEGV errors that pop up for no real reason...
