I'm suddenly imagining an alternate reality where F.A.T.A.L. was the game that took off and became hugely popular and DnD was the one that's considered bizarre and played as an obscure game.

P1: "Oh no I rolled a 1 to hit against the dragon...so much for this char.  Wait where's my circumference stats?  I'm confused how do we calculate this without that?"

GM: "That just means you dropped your sword, you'll have to make an action to pick it back up next turn."

P1: "Oh...Where's the fun in that?"

I once participated in a FATAL chargen thread on /tg/. The character we created had nipples four inches long. And I once saw another FATAL thread where a character was stabbed through the lungs, but without breaking the skin or damaging any other body parts.
