Was getting some birthday cards at the dollar store today. One of them said "It's your birthday today" on the front with a picture of a sleeping kitten. The only thing on the inside of the card were the words "I hope you spend it alone".

The last episode of Psych I watched tonight had some blatantly obvious product placement.

Highlights include: pack of Coke, right there, just in camera reach; camera pans down to characters at the start of the scene, starting just high enough to catch the Dunkin' Doughnuts logo; character uses Snapple standee as a makeshift riot shield; climax takes place in convenience store with plenty of just-visible labels. I'm sure there were more, but bloody hell, that was the most blatant product placement I've seen on a prime-time show.

At least it wasn't, like, Mac and Me levels, but still.

I am thinking that eerr may in fact be deadly serious about this.
I mean, once could be an act, two is stretching it, but when you've made three threads in half a year all about the same imaginary problem I think that is a sign of something properly wrong.
