I love the taste of instant coffee mixed with milk, Hershey's syrup, and sugar.
I'd do that with decaf if I had any, because I love the taste more than the caffeine.

decaf =/= no caffeine.

It still has it, just less.

And actually, I sometimes feel like the taste of coffee (well, with milk and sugar, because that's the way I like it, dammit!), but it's like 9 PM and I don't want to not be able to sleep, which actually is a thing for me with coffee.

That's a hallmark of bad tea. That, or you're not letting it brew, so it's basically coloured water.
