I've totally done that and I enjoyed it. The quality might depend on the specific choices of coffee/hot chocolate though.

But if I did it now, I'd make some hot chocolate in milk and mix that with plain coffee. Maybe some sugar too.

Dunno about coffee, but I can attest to the fact that tea mixed with hot chocolate is goddamn awful. Don't do that. It is terrible.

If you have really terrible coffee and really terrible bagged milk, mixing the two can often improve the taste.

Ha, kidding. Most caffeine I have at once is Mountain Dew, coffee is just overkill and I have decaf at most.

Don't get me wrong, if you have really good or really bad coffee, the flavor practically requires drinking it black. But if it's just sort of nasty, mix it.
