Reminds me of the time I was staying at a friend's place, bought a Hollies record from an op-shop and played it on his record player.
I was thinking, "Waitaminute, The Hollies weren't a bunch of deep-voiced black singers playing slow, soulful blues, were they?" And then I realised we were playing a 75rpm record at 45rpm. Changed the setting on the player and it sounded fine.
Weird thing was it still sounded like a good song on the slower setting, just a different song.

Granted, most of it paid using money he loaned from his parents, but still, I wish I had 20k euros just lying around >.<
