My bathroom keeps getting rearranged for some reason. Is there a toothbrush gremlin or some shit like that hiding in there?

I don't care about having decorations in my bathroom, but my mom seems to disagree. Can't have my toothbrush on the counter. Or any of my other hygiene stuff. Just decorations. If I leave anything on the counter, including my soap dispenser, it gets put into the cupboard under the sink and replaced with more decorations.

Because God forbid I leave my stuff out where others can see it. They might think I'm some sort of dirty freak that actually has to practice hygiene.

When you move out for good, you should glue a toothbrush to the countertop as a farewell.

Baug's tinytext is right. You shouldn't glue the toothbrush to the countertop.

I recommend finishing nails, nailed in nice and hard, then maybe a good daub of caulking to make sure the bugger's not going anywhere. Little quick drying cement, maybe?

If you're going to make a point, at least make one that's not easy to remove and maybe does a little structural damage in the process.

What is the best way to prevent yourself from being demoralized/demotivated?

I notice I get into that state very easily and while I am overly sensitive... this isn't good.

Stop giving value in thought to what demoralizes you (as in, note that it doesn't matter but still learn from it).
Keep moving forward, don't attribute pitfalls where there are none.

I guess it's still being rejected in favor of postmodernists when you just suck and would have been refused anyway, but...

It's okay. Buildings mostly, no people. It's the sort of art you would see hanging on the walls of hotel rooms. Boring and inoffensive.
