Holy fuck why is there so much rain there was massive flooding last week and now it's pouring.

Also, thunder and lightning. My dog is in the basement. My dog hates the basement, but finds it preferable to upstairs right now.

Having broken sleep and being cold when I could sleep led to some very messed up dreams this morning.
One moment I was some sort of villain plotting to murder/rob a bunch of people sleeping at the bottom of a stairway, the next moment a demon appeared above me and I was Lisa Simpson saving the last remnants of the (already post-apocalyptic) world from it, by reciting from this self-help book written by Ned Flanders, who I/she was upset to discover died at the end.

Oh, and Lisa/I had survived whatever killed almost everyone by somehow time-travelling into the future, and was disappointed to see that quality in literature had decreased sharply and that Flanders was now a total moron who couldn't write a book.
Then the demon thing was dealt with and suddenly we were different-but-kinda-similar characters flying across the wasteland(?) in some sort of speedy flying vehicle partying and stuff. And that's pretty much as sensibly as I can retell the dream. O.o

There was another, earlier one which made slightly more sense... but not much.

Sometimes I wish I got into this whole internet drama commentary thing circa last year, with all the good stuff coming out of it of late.

I still have aspirations to throw my hat in the ring, though. I get kicks out of embarrassing other people, especially ones with egos even larger than mine.
