On the subject of Cho Chang, my favorite issue people have with her is that she's not a main character. So, people (mostly SJWs) are complaining that an Asian character in the books is not one of the main characters. This is somehow evidence of White Privilege(tm).

... that's what fanfiction is for. There's... well, one or two out there that do alright by chang.

Though I've noticed the distinct tendency for, when someone's writing up a canon asian HP character, it's either the patil twins or... that other one. Su something? I'unno. I think there was like four, anyway. Chang usually gets thrown under some form of bus.

During a roleplay session, I rolled a nat 1 and a nat 20 in the same attack. Unfortunately, the nat 1 came first, and completely invalidated the entire thing. Dafuq Dice Gods? Y u gotta be dis way.

So was I the only one who couldn't stand the Dark Tower series? Got about a third of the way through the second book before giving up completely. It just, I dunno, rambled too much. I didn't find myself growing attached to any of the characters, just could not emphasize with a single person. I'm not even entirely sure what the plot or setting was.

Adventures in college continue. Roommates are going out for a party. Took 'em an hour to get ready for it, left at 11:00 at night. Gon' be booze and girls and prolly shaggin' and errything.

Everybody's got mandatory early morning crap they got to go attend tomorrow morning. Seems like a crazy choice for party night then. Waking up early is bad enough, but waking up early and getting maybe 4 hours of sleep on top of a possible hangover? Dudes be cray. College peeps be cray.

I'd much rather sleep. It's an interesting contrast, me and the roommates almost everyone I've interacted with in college thus far.

To be fair, I'm at a college that is apparently a big "party college". So probably lots a decent amount of students came for the party scene. Or they're staying for the party scene. Or maybe they came for the school stuff and found the parties a nice bonus. These are probably the same people who did parties like this in high school. Not all that different.

woulda been nice if the college included this whole "big party college" reputation on their official website, so i'da heard about it before i'm actually enrolled.
